This macro was developed to simplify the component's information retrieval while working in the assembly or drawing documents. A bubble tooltip hint is displayed with single button click or via a keyboard shortcut. Message contains the component's name, configuration and specified custom properties. Please follow the steps below to add the macro to a toolbar

Unzip the archive. Select 'Customize' command from the Tools menu Add new macro button Select the DisplayPartInformation.swp macro from the folder and optionally specify tooltip and icon Read more about the macro buttons here
For the easier access it is possible to assign the shortcut to a macro command. Please follow the steps below. In this sample Q key is used as the shortcut however you can use any other key or combination of the keys. Please read more about the shortcuts here
Now you can simply select the components in drawing, assembly or part and click the keyboard shortcut to see the detailed information of the component.
You can specify the list of properties you want to display. Just edit the values in the properties.txt file which is located in the macro folder.
