Plugin Description
This plugin allows user to process SOLIDWORKS Part, Assembly and Drawing Files directly from PDM Vault. User need to explicitly checkout a file in PDM in order to modify it. #TASK automatically Checks Out a File and then Processes that files in Item Scope and then Checks them back into Vault. Check Out and Check In are optional in PDM.
Activate and Access
User can activate this Plugin from the settings tab and navigate to "Plug-ins Manager".Select the "SolidWorks PDM Vault Access" plugin checkbox.
After enabling the Plugin , #TASK prompts to Restart the application, After Restarting the application and run of a job , a dialog for Check-In/Check-Out gets displayed.
Plugin Execution
User can Define Comments During Reach Run
- Run a macro against the list of PDM files
Run #TASK using default comments
Run #TASK Again and Change the Comments
There should be 2 rows of data in History for each File processed, showing both the comments on different rows and version numbers
